November 2013 – Princess Yachts International is set to showcase its new V48 Open sports boat for the first time in the UK at the forthcoming London Boat Show, taking place from 4-12 January 2014 at ExCel, London.

The Princess V48 Open has attracted critical acclaim since its recent international launch. The latest model in the V Class sports range, it is a highly capable craft delivering performance, efficiency and exceptional handling, both at sea and at close quarters. The resin infused hull is designed to quicken the transition to plane, improving efficiency whilst delivering outstanding performance and handling thanks to its Volvo IPS engines and drive system. She also benefits from an incredibly spacious open cockpit to offer the ultimate open boating experience.

The teak-laid cockpit, with its generous seating, creates the perfect space to enjoy life on deck and is shaded by the canopy and electrically operated sliding sun roof which provides versatility to enjoy the complete open boating experience. It incorporates a wetbar and, further aft, a large integrated sunbed is positioned above the tender garage, which can accommodate a 3.25m jetrib. There is a further ‘J’ shaped seat forward, adjacent to the twin helm seats providing companion seating when underway.

Below decks, the V48 Open provides accommodation for up to 6 guests with two large en-suite cabins including a full beam owner’s stateroom amidships and a forward guest cabin, which can be specified with an optional ‘scissor berth’ system to create a double or twin beds as required. The generous saloon seating can be converted to provide additional sleeping space for occasional guests.

Following their recent international debut, the new Princess 88 Motor Yacht and the Princess 43 are also set to wow the crowds at London.

The 88 is powerful, agile and gracefully elegant. She has been designed for long range cruising and her deep-V hull utilises the very latest resin infusion technology, making her performance and sea keeping both impeccable and efficient. The Princess designers have once again excelled in creating exterior and interior spaces that are generous in size, exceptionally well finished and incredibly flexible whether entertaining or relaxing.
