När båtdesigners får ta ut svängarna ordentligt kan det bli riktigt vackert. Denna läckra Swan 105 RS har väckt stor uppmärksamhet. Den är producerad av Nautor i Finland och designad av Beiderbeck design.
De båda företagen har tolkat och tagit vara på den tyska kundens önskemål när de har byggt den här yachten på närmare 32 m. Kunden ville ha en superyacht i särklass med en kombination av högsta komfort, extrem funktionalitet och design i absolut framkant.
Designföretaget från Bremen har varit ansvarigt för all konceptdesign inklusive interiör, layout och hela överbyggnaden. German Frers stod för all konstruktion, som vanligt hos Swan yachts. Båten skapade mycket uppmärksamhet vid Monaco Yacht Show, där den fick stort intresse hos den internationella publiken.

The strict separation of operational and recreational areas allows for the owner’s privacy on and below deck if the Swan is sailed by a crew – even though she can be operated easily single-handed. The aft master stateroom features a sliding glass panorama door allowing bright daylight to enter while opening onto the transom, which can be used as a terrace and swimming platform. Warm Xelogen lights underline the timeless elegance of the interior furniture.
Both guest cabins, one equipped with a king-size bed, the other with two single beds, each have separate shower baths. The main saloon in front of the cabins follows the same design as on the open deck: there are two u-shaped, spacious sitting areas on either side, a large one furnished with a side table for glasses and a very large one with a dining table. This is where the yacht’s beam of almost 25 feet (a good seven and a half meters) is not only visible but also useful. And when seated (!), the guests can enjoy the breath-taking panorama view of the horizon – and not only the sky. When it’s dark outside, this is enhanced by light strips integrated into the side deck.
Almost the same comfort can be found in the crew cabins which are completely separated towards the bow and can be accessed via two doors through the galley. Both fore cabins are divided by a central piece of furniture with a sliding partition wall.
From their area, a separate companionway gives the crew access to their own small cockpit situated in front of the mast from where the Swan 105 can be entirely manoeuvred under engine, e.g. for boat transfers. In front of this cockpit, the dinghy is recessed into the deck.
From the twin steering system in the aft sailing cockpit, the skipper can operate all relevant elements at the push of a button. The 300m2 fully-battened mainsail can be furled into the main boom. Both the self-tacking jib (210m2) and the semi-permanent code zero (490m2) are supplied with a headsails furling system.
The owner may also sail his super-yacht from the interior helm stand from where a door leads onto the side deck. This allows the skipper to contact people outside without delay and to quickly access the foredeck without having to go through the main saloon.
The open saloon situated outside on the upper deck between cockpit and bridge is a living room of its own. Depending on the weather conditions, it can be closed completely or shaded partially with the electrical sliding elements of the bimini roof. Even the windshield can be lowered using a remote control.
